Opportunities to Serve

We at FUMC are blessed with many members willing to serve on our ongoing ministries. However, we need more volunteers! There are many ways that you can bear fruit by offering your time and your talents. See below for current and upcoming opportunities to serve:

Volunteers Needed for Worship Services:

Multi-media volunteers to work for either the 8:30 and 11 o'clock services or the 6:30 SNL service at FUMC.

Nursery volunteers for the 11 o'clock service at FUMC.

Communion Stewards and Servers Needed:

Additional communion stewards to prepare and clean up after communion on the first Sunday of each month are needed for 2011. We also need communion servers for 8:30, 11, 2 (Hispanic service) and SNL. Please contact either Carolyn Webb (728-4883) or Dot Jones for details and for scheduling. Youth are also welcome to volunteer!

Ushers & Greeters Needed:

Prayer partners on Sunday mornings:

Please consider joining our prayer group. We meet every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. Many in our church have testified to the power of prayer in their lives!

New Sunday School Class at Wheatland:

Sunday School teachers are needed for Sunday School classes at Wheatland, 9:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Please contact Susan Clark if you can serve.

"The Gathering":

See Sue Ward to sign up for "The Gathering" refreshments. This is an important ministry, held between "First Light" worship service and Sunday School, which gives an opportunity for fellowship among members and for greeting visitors.
